Hollywood Swagger recently had the opportunity to catch up with model Jessica RaChelle to discuss her modeling, hobbies and upcoming plans.  Take a look at our exclusive interview with Jessica below-

HS: Thanks for stopping by Jessica, first and foremost please tell our readers a little about yourself.

Jessica: Well,  I’m 21 years old. I have  a Twin brother and one older brother. I love animals…I’ve been rescuing them since i was about 5.  I love sports, especially basketball. I grew up playing all types of sports from dance to basketball, surfing, football, baseball etc.  I love the outdoors and natures simplistic beauty. I live for my family, my grandpa is my heart. I love helping others and one day plan to open homeless shelters and animals shelters.

HS: Sounds like you have some great hobbies. How long have you been modeling, and how did you get started?

Jessica: Well growing up I’ve always had a passion for the industry and wanted to be like the beautiful women on TV, but i was kind of an ugly duckling, so i never thought i was pretty enough lol. About 2 years ago i went with my best friend to one her photo shoots, and the photographer asked if he could shoot me because he liked my look. I fell in love with it and have been doing it ever since.

HS: Have you always lived in Southern California?

Jessica: Yes, I grew up in the Orange County area most of my life.  I love the beach!

HS: Our website is all about the swagger, or energy, that comes with the city of Hollywood- in what ways do you notice that this city is different than anywhere else in the world?

Jessica: It’s definitely a much different atmosphere then the beach area of my hometown.  A much faster pace/lifestyle.  It’s city full of self creativity and all types of styles and people. Haha you name it and you’ll see it in Hollywood.

HS: Couldn’t have said it better myself. What does a normal day consist of for a successful model like yourself?

Jessica: Normal? haha I wish I could remember the last time I had a normal day.  Everyday is different then the day before so its kind of hard to say. A lot of traveling, filming, photo shoots, etc.

HS: When find leisure in your schedule, what do you like to do for fun?

Jessica: Definitely spend time with the family and hit the beach. Take my dogs for a run, or go out dancing with friends.. for some reason I’m usually the only one dancing though haha.

HS: Any upcoming project our plans that your fans should look out for?

Jessica: There’s a few on my list, I don’t want to say to much so I don’t jinx anything, but I can say a feature film in Europe is possibly in the near future.

HS: I’m the same way, I always feel I jinx myself when I mention plans too early. How about any advice you might have for young up and coming models?

Jessica: Always be yourself. Find what works for you and go with it. It’s definitely a tough industry and you will hear the word no often, but don’t get discouraged; keep going and give it your all. Never give up on your dreams and know that beauty is skin deep.

HS: Now that it’s the start of 2011, did you make any new year’s resolutions?

Jessica: Well everyday is a celebration and a new resolution for me, so new years is like all the other days.

HS: Well we definitely wish you the best with all your upcoming work and endeavors. Make sure to keep us updated on what the future holds for you.
